What are your hours?
We’re open Thursday through Tuesday, 12:00 PM to 8:00 PM, and closed on Wednesdays. Our hours can change in the winter — the current schedule is always on our Policies page and in the footer of every page.
What tattoo styles do you specialize in?
Each of our artists has styles they love working in, and all of them are well practised across many more. Whether you’re after a delicate fineline floral or a bold, vibrant neotraditional piece, our team can bring your idea to life. Visit their portfolios to see their best work and book yours today. Walk-in tattoos are available too, whatever style you’re wanting.
Do you offer piercings as well as tattoos?
Yes! Alongside tattooing, Legacy Tattoo offers a range of body piercing services. Visit our Body Piercings page to see everything we offer and book today.
Do I need to put down a deposit to book?
Yes. Once you and your artist have agreed on the concept, a non-refundable deposit holds your appointment and pays for your artist’s drawing time. It comes off your final bill, so it isn’t an extra charge.
We ask for 48 hours’ notice to cancel or reschedule — no-shows and short-notice cancellations forfeit the deposit. There’s more detail in our blog post, Getting Your First Tattoo in Calgary.
Is there a minimum age for getting a tattoo or piercing?
You need to be 18 with valid ID. Alberta has no provincial minimum age for tattooing, so studio policy applies: clients under 18 need written parental consent and must be at least 16, at the artist’s discretion.

How do I take care of a new tattoo or piercing?

Do you sell gift cards?
Yes, we do! Gift cards are available to purchase online or in-store. There’s a $50 minimum on online orders, and you can have a physical card mailed to the recipient. Check out the price guide on our Gift Cards page to get an idea of the amount you’d like to give.
Can I bring my friends or family to my appointment?
Of course — especially if you’re feeling nervous. Just keep in mind that our tattoo rooms are compact, so we can only allow one extra person in the room with you. It keeps everyone safe and lets your artist move around freely and work without distraction.
